the Labs
Serendipity Labs is host of a studio/rehearsal room for it's related artists.
During 2004 and early 2005 an old boiler room was transformed into a cozy
audio lab. The near soundproof Lab has enabled many different music experiments,
and have hosted many great music sessions in the mean time.

Rehearsal room:
SL's acts F-Art/Trauma Trio, OMSKI, Edrock's BluntAxe Orchestra
have their regular rehearsals in the Lab. Occasionally there are rehearsal
for projects or friends of SL such as Erik Vanderlest (Minyeshu & Chewata),
Richard van Kruysdijks Amplified and Peter Steenbakkers' saxophone workshops.
The Lab is not open to public rental but is rented to / used by related acts
and friends of SL.
Recording room:
Apart from rehearsals, the Lab also hosts recording sessions. In 2005
the BluntAxe orchestra recorded all tracks of their first CD in the Labs, and
OMSKI recorded
part of their new album there as well.
Experimental Lab:
From the beginning, the Lab has formed a playground for experiments in music.
The related artists & guests can often be found making music in different
settings and combinations.
Specifically the main laborants are continuously in search of creative ways to incorporate modern technology / electronics into the music making process (laptop/software, effect equipment, etc).
